Welcome – Here’s my Story

Welcome every one to my Personal blog. I have been meaning to do this for a very long time now.   For those of you who do not know, my name is Shashvat Joshi and I spent the last Eight and a half-year of my life studying medicine and finally getting the prestigious M.D.  Somewhere in the middle I had the chance to explore the world and here I want to share with all you guys and especially my fellow Indian travelers my Tips and Experiences that I have gathered while traveling through almost all of India, Ladakh, Spiti, Bhutan, North East India (All of this on Motorbike), Maldives, Seychelles, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal, United Arab Emirates , Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Ireland( Self Drive Road trips) and Japan.

I have been meaning to do this for a very long time now.   For those of you who do not know, my name is Shashvat Joshi and I spent the last Eight and a half-year of my life studying medicine and finally getting the prestigious M.D.  Somewhere in the middle of all this i had the opportunity to visit and explore some of the most amazing parts of our planet. 

So one of my First road trips was to the Himalayas in the Ladakh region of India.  This I am talking about 8 years back when Ladakh was not very popular not yet commercialized and just pure and raw nature.  I had my own personal motorcycle and it was trip that completely changed my outlook towards life. I was a completely different person after that epiphanic road trip.   I realized that i was blindly running after something that the society and world demanded out of me and making me believe that would be source of happiness. But when i was amidst  the mountains i had never been happier and had  found my true calling.

The point of my blog and the YouTube channel is to help all you Indian travelers who find it difficult and intimidating  to travel abroad and believe that traveling abroad is expensive. I want to change this stereotype among Indian travelers and help them realize that it is possible to travel abroad without the help of a travel agents.
